Glimpses of Hong Kong

I apologise for the jumble of images that follows but I decided that I would put up all the photos I liked didn’t dislike from my few days there… I’m still crushing madly on Hong Kong. I hope you’ll enjoy the colour, the views, the dried squid…

  1. Oh Wow!!! So many gorgeous colours, textures, angles, shapes and lighting – not to mention appetite stimulating scenes 🙂 But that ‘Eye Bar Terrace’ shot… loved it. The colour and the softness of reflections and light and silhouettes…my fav

  2. This is a fantastic selection. I am amazed about the soft colours , very nice. Been to HKG many, many times in my previous job and recall it much louder. Your pics . bring back nice memories, a (virtual) typical smell of HKG and a big smile on my face. Thanks for that. Best, Tom.

    • Thanks so much for the feedback, Tom! Nice to know they managed to evoke memories, even in the olfactory sense! 😀 Hong Kong was certainly stimulating in that sense (and many others besides), even harsh at times. I suppose where there is harshness, there is also softness… if one looks for it.

  3. When I’d go every year to Manila, I’d always factor in a whole day in HK just to wander around. The fascination never wore off, and you’ve caught so much of it in this selection. Thanks 🙂
