First and Last (and a Few In-Between)

Somehow, I managed to miss including this lot in my recent Japan and Hong Kong posts, so I thought I would simply post them here. The recurring theme being that of man, alone, in his environment.

I hadn’t planned it, but it’s worked out well: the photo below of the man at the Tokyo Ginza crossing was the first of the holiday, captured at 8:12am (we’d recently dumped our bags at the hotel and were wandering around, waiting for check-in time)… And the final shot was taken as we waited in the lounge at Hong Kong airport for our return flight to Sydney.

And in case you were wondering about the feature photo, it was taken at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, because I simply could not get enough of that massive pile of bricks…
