One of the pleasures of the current living situation is that I’m minutes from Glebe and the Foreshore Walk, plus the parkland beside it. I don’t think it’s possible to overstate how good it is to have this on the doorstep. Besides the trees and sprawling green, there’s Blackwattle Bay, the Anzac Bridge – in short, a whole lot of something for everyone. Runners, rowers, dogs and their humans, people of all ages, people with cameras (guilty!) – you get the gist.
These photos were not all taken during the same session, as I’m sure is clear, but I decided to put them all together anyway as they show the place being enjoyed at various times of day.
Currently summoning the motivation to haul the camera plus tripod to a suitable spot one of these days for an early or late shoot… It’ll probably be the former, because I’m a morning person and the notion of a night shoot doesn’t fill me with excitement. Then again, perhaps that alone should be reason enough to do it. Mix it up and all that. Anyway… working on it.
